Q.Not ignite
A1.
Please check ejector unit. Not ignite if it has got damaged or clogged (gas not flow properly). Please replace to new ejector unit no.90-07U
A2.
In case of gas flow properly but dose not ignite even press ignition switch, please check the piezo sparks or not. And replace piezo unit if it does not spark.
Do not press ignition switch without tip housing so much. It leads damage to the piezo unit.
A3.
In case of gas flow and piezo sparks but not ignite properly, adjust gas control lever as below.
Warm temperature. Move control lever 3 to left.
Cold temperature. Move control lever 3 to right.
In the nature of the gas, gas pressure may different depend on the temperature.
Q.Ignite but not warm up
Please check soldering tip as below.
And replace if it is unusable.
Tip
Soldering tip dose not heat up after catalyst (honeycomb inside of soldering tip) falls off. Do not use Kotelyzer after catalyst falls off, it might cause damage to the unit.
Do not heat up more than necessary. Soldering tip may be transformed or catalyst is worn out easily if it is too hot. Adjust a control lever and operate in proper temperature.
What is the heat shrink attachment?(70-01-54 or 55)
Our heat shrink attachment is used for shrink tubing with hot blow tips.
Soldering tip(70-01-01) is equipped at the time of purchase.
Replase to a hot blow tips.(70-01-52)
Mount a heat shrink attachment.(70-01-54 or 55)
This heat shrink attachment provides easier heat shrink tubing.
Recommend to use lower air and increase the temperature gradually to prevent from burning or scorching.
For more sensitive heat shrink tubing, we recommend Kotelyzer HEATGUN.
